How to Use Your Phone for Internet on an iPod Touch
- 1). Press the round button at the bottom of your iPod Touch's screen and slide your finger as instructed to unlock your iPod Touch device.
- 2). Press the "Settings" icon and then select the "Wi-Fi" option.
- 3). Select an available Wi-Fi network from the list of Wi-Fi networks. If the network you select has a lock icon to the right of the network's name, the network is secured and you will need a password to access the network.
- 4). Enter the correct password for the network you are trying to access. If the network you are attempting to access is not secured, you do not have to enter a password.
- 5). Wait for your iPod Touch to connect to the Wi-Fi network. When your iPod Touch has successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network, you will see a checkmark displayed to the left of the network's name.
- 6). Press the round button at the bottom of your iPod Touch's screen.
- 7). Press the "Safari" icon on your iPod Touch's screen. Tap the search bar located at the top of the Safari screen. Delete any text that is in the Safari search bar. Type the complete website address for the webpage you want to access.
