Bluewater Productions Profile
Introduction
Bluewater Productions is a small publishing company housed in Northwest Washington. It started with creator Darren G. Davis and his creation, 10th Muse. The comic was originally published through Image, but due to some differences of opinion, they left Image and bounced around with different companies until they decided to take matters into their own hands and publish their own line of comics.Since then, Bluewater has expanded their line to include many other titles such as VSS Nemesis Rising, Isis, and Judo Girl.
Their latest enterprise has garnered a lot of buzz. Their Ray Harryhausen Presents line of comics are based on the classic movies of film legend Ray Harryhausen and include such titles as Wrath of the Titans, 20 Million Miles More, and others. History:
"We started publishing comics in 2001 at Image Comics with titles such as the "10th Muse" and the "Dollz". From there we launched Legend of Isis and Black Tide. Most of the books we launched were in the top 30. We left Image to go to Alias Enterprises and did a couple kids books through another publisher. After Alias changed directions in publishing comics - we decided to launch our own publishing company."
