How to Fold a Paper Cube
- 1). Start with a square sheet of paper of any color. Fold it in half and then in half again to create creases. Your paper should be evenly divided into four squares of equal size when opened fully, or two squares of equal size when folded in half.
- 2). Take half of the rectangle and fold down the top corner so that it meets the center crease. Do the same with the other side of the rectangle. What you should end up with is a triangle.
- 3). Now that you have your creases, unfold the corners back into the rectangle, then push the corners down into the center of the rectangle. You should have a triangle.
- 4). Fold the bottom corners of your triangle so that they meet at the middle crease. What you will end up with is a square.
- 5). Take the right and left edges of your square and fold them into the center. Repeat on the other side.
- 6). Fold the top and bottom points into the middle. Repeat on the other side. This will form pockets into which you will tuck in points in the next step.
- 7). Crease the little triangles just created and tuck them into the folds. Repeat on the other side.
- 8). To form the cube, push down on the top and bottom points, pull the flaps apart slightly and then blow into the hole at the bottom to "inflate" the cube.
