How to Make Realistic Vampire Teeth
- 1). Make a negative impression of your teeth. Follow the directions on your casting material to mix the powder and catalyst into a paste. You will only have three to five minutes to work once it is mixed before it starts to harden. Place the casting material into the tooth tray and press into your upper set of teeth. Allow it to set according to the directions on the casting material package. When dry, pop it out of your mouth and brush your teeth.
- 2). Mix the plaster. Follow the directions on the package of the plaster of Paris, and make enough to fill your tooth mold. Pour into the negative impression and set aside to dry. (Time will vary depending on the product.)
- 3). Pop your positive tooth mold out of your negative casting once the plaster is completely dry.
- 4). Mix the acrylic powder and catalyst according to the directions on the package. When the acrylic has a rubbery consistency, roll it into a ball and push it up onto the canine tooth of your mold. Use the ice cream stick to distribute the acrylic evenly. Make sure to get it between the teeth on either side of your canine and up into the gum line, as this will allow the tooth to sit in place in your mouth without the use of any kind of adhesive.
- 5). Repeat the process for your other canine tooth. Set the mold aside and allow it to dry fully. (Drying time will depend on the product--to be sure, give it a full 24 hours to set and dry.)
- 6). File your fangs. Using your rotary shaping tool, shape the fangs into sharp points. Make sure the inner lines of each tooth slant away from your front teeth to ensure a realistic look to the tooth. Leave the creases for your teeth next to your canines and the natural gum line so the tooth will sit in your mouth without an adhesive. Once you're done with this step, you can pop your teeth in and head out into the night to "suck some blood."
