Exfoliaters and Masks

• Whether you have dry, normal or oily skin, there are ways to use natural remedies to help. For skin to be clean and clear, the dead outer layer must be removed. A wonderful natural exfoliator is pineapple. You won't need a lot, just take a few chunks of pineapple and mash up with a fork. Spread all over face and allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Using circular motions with your fingertips, rinse off with warm water. Another wonderful homemade scrub is to combine dry oatmeal with yogurt. You'll need about a quarter-cup of oatmeal and a tablespoon of yogurt. Combine to make a paste and apply to skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave mask on for about 10 minutes and gently scrub away with warm water. Clay masks are great for clearing out clogged pores, and you can borrow a little kitty litter from your cat to create a simple, effective clay mask. Take a quarter of a cup of kitty litter and mix with two tablespoons of water, enough to make a paste. Spread the mask over your face and allow to dry completely. Rinse off with warm water and you'll notice a difference immediately.
  
  

Dry Skin Treatment

• If you have dry skin a wonderful and easy mask is to apply a mashed-up banana to your skin. Allow your skin to rest with the banana mixture on it for about 15 minutes and gently rinse off with cool water. You'll instantly notice the difference in your skin's texture. As an added bonus, mashed-up bananas also make a great hair conditioner, just in case you are left with extra.
  
  

Skin Softener

• Two of the best natural ingredients for skin are egg whites and honey. When used together, these two deliver an incredible softness to your skin, particularly when used regularly over time. You can also use egg whites alone to tighten skin, but for optimal results, separate the white from an egg into a bowl and whisk in a teaspoon of good quality honey. Use a brush to spread mixture all over face and allow to dry completely. Skin may feel a little tight as it's drying, but this is normal. Rinse off with warm water and feel the smoothness even after the first application.
