How to Attach a Teardrop Bead

    • 1). Cut a piece of 18-gauge wire to measure 5 inches long, using the wire clippers.

    • 2). Insert the wire through the bead hole, sliding the bead to the center of the wire. Bend the wires straight up, using your fingers, then twist the wires directly above the teardrop point.

    • 3). Grasp one of the wires with the needle-nose pliers 1 inch from the end. Turn the pliers to form the wire into a circle.

    • 4). Grasp the wire end of the circle with your fingers, and wrap it around the bottom of the other wire three times.

    • 5). Trim off the excess wire. Bend the wire circle straight upward. Thread the wire circle on a necklace or earring wire to attach the teardrop bead.
