    • 1). Press the "Home" button on the front of the iPhone device. Tap the gray "Settings" icon. A list of the iPhone's options will appear on the screen.

    • 2). Make sure "Airplane Mode" is not on. This mode blocks all incoming and outgoing signals and can prevent your iPhone from accessing the Internet.

    • 3). Press "Wi-Fi" to view your iPhone's wireless Internet details. Check that the toggle switch next to "Wi-Fi" is in the blue "On" position. You won't be able to receive a wireless Internet signal if this switch is off.

    • 4). Tap the name of the network that you wish to join. If there is a padlock icon, re-enter the password. An incorrect password can cause the network to reject your phone's attempt to join.

    • 5). Review the symbol next to the wireless network's name. A network with a strong signal shows three concentric lines. If the network you're on shows fewer than three lines, try joining a different network for an improved connection and faster Internet speeds.
