I Have The Power

As a life and business coach I have completely understood and see the benefits of stepping into my own power, creating my destiny.
I have accepted that the good, the bad and the ugly, are all a result of my thoughts, I in some form created what I have already experienced and right now I am using and tapping into my personal power to create the future...
I find this a very exciting and challenging part of my life, I am becoming so aware of what I want, and I don't mind if others step aside and let me past, However, nothing would give me more joy and happiness to have them come with me...
Through my Power, I have learnt to become passionate about the little things in life.
I have learnt to be present and enjoy each and every moment as i create my Life.
The lessons will be there to learn from...
The word Power or standing in my Power, means to me being calm and peaceful.
Think of a few powerful people in the world, people like Gandhi, Deli lambi, Mother Theresa, maybe your own role models...
these people are powerful, they are passionate and they are living their lifes purpose, they portray confidence, they are cented and holistic, they work for the greater good of mankind.
Can you do this? even on a smaller scale, within your family and work environments.
You to have the Power! For some folk this may sound all airy fairy..

or some may think i can't change the circumstanced in my life - if i could how would i do this? Today I would love to share with you one of many techniques that I use with my clients and myself.
This is a very simple technique that each and every one of you have heard, maybe you have already tried this and it may or may not have worked, however it works for me and my clients.
It all started for me in 1999, I took a blank piece of paper from my office - I was going through a bitter divorce, my sister in law was diagnosed with a terminal cancer.
I had just finished my masters in Reiki and I was told that something magical happens when you take a piece of paper and pen, (setting a goal) This was extremely confronting, I only knew what it was to be a mum, wife and go to work..
I had no idea of what I wanted, Where I wanted to be in 5 years ( i didn't know where i was going to be within the next hour, let alone 5 years from now) I had no plans...
Other than to be happy..
I sat in my office and though with an open mind, if this goal setting really works - then I am going to give it a run for its money..
My list stated - A mansion, backing onto a mountain with views.
A four wheel drive Toyota landcruiser A Red Sportscar Financially Independent A Dream Job that has a passive income A Tall Dark and Handsome Gentleman Fast forward to 2005..

I am sitting on my office floor unpacking, I had just purchased a new home..
..
I found this piece of paper and the tears started to swell as I realised what i have achieved..
I achieved 5 out of the 6 on my list: I had just moved into a home that was 450sqm, two wrapping verandas with view to the city.
I had a four wheel drive toyota.
I had a awesome business as a mortgage broker with a passive (trail) income I had a man who was tall, dark and somewhat handsome.
I was financially independent.
the only item that i didn't have was the red sports car HOWEVER, I was given the opportunity to purchase a 1977 Red Mercedes, which i didnt end up purchasing.
From this moment on I realised the Power that I had to create my future, Every Year I sat down and set my goals...
Last year I set my goals, and one of them was to move into a million dollar mansion, so I created a video of my goals...
and posted to my you tube channel absolutewisdom1 and downloaded to my iPhone...
I watched this movie morning and night for a period of six weeks..
After returning from a family holiday to the USA (which was in my goal book) I had sold my house, and in a panic (as I didn't have the million dollars) I needed to find a home for my family...
I had to look at renting and funny enough the perfect house appeared..
..
It was identical to the house that was in my you tube video of goals...
Awesome...
!!! There are many other goal stories that I would be happy to share with you at a later date...
Now I have the Power to create my future, and so do you!!! I encourage you to take a blank piece of paper and write out some ideas.
Get yourself a goal book, a goal box or a dream/goal board.
You are welcome to go to my website, I have a vision board software programe for a few dollars, you can put all your personal pictures and it displays your goals as a screen saver, a great tool if you are in front of the computer all day..
Whatever you do, make sure you do something..
