As a person new to ghost hunting you will probably search on the website for a ghost hunt event. There are so many to choose from and each location is unique. There may be many Companys selling the same event so it may be difficult to make the choice of which Company will give you the best ghost hunting experience. I feel that the best thing to do would be to telephone the Company you have selected and ask questions about the ghost hunt event you have selected. They should be able to give you all the information you need and if they do not answer your questions adequately then go to another Company. Any Company that is interested in ensuring that their customers have the best experience will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have about the event and what happens during the night.

What would normally happen on a ghost hunt event is that on arrival you will be booked in and then directed towards a base room where you can leave your belongings for the duration of the event. This is normally where you would take your breaks and where the refreshments are laid out. You will then be given a tour of the location and told a little bit about its history and why it is haunted. You may also be given details of some of the haunted events that have been recorded. After this you would go on another tour with the Medium who will let you know where the most active areas are and you will then be able to hold vigils and seances in the active area.
