How to Clean Chuck Taylor All Stars
- 1). Rub your Magic Eraser around the white toe of the shoe and around the rubber foxing along the perimeter of the shoe. This should remove a great deal of stains.
- 2). Dab a nickel-sized amount of your liquid shoe or sneaker cleaner onto an old toothbrush. Rub it against the white rubber areas of your shoe for a more thorough whitening.
- 3). Dilute a teaspoon of laundry detergent with a cup of water in a small bowl or basin. Dip your toothbrush in the basin and mix it together.
- 4). Rub your toothbrush against the canvas parts of your Converse All Stars, working up a good lather. Make sure you cover every square inch of this part of the shoe. Continue dipping the toothbrush into the detergent and soap for more cleaning fluid.
- 5). Rinse out the bowl of detergent and water. Fill it with clean, cold water. Dip the toothbrush in it again and rub it against the canvas part of your shoes, rinsing out the detergent.
- 6). Bunch several pieces of paper towel together and stick them on the inside of the shoe to assist it in drying. Keep the shoes away from heat or sunlight when they're drying.
