How to View iPhone Apps on a Mac
- 1). Connect the iPhone to your computer using its USB cable. Open iTunes if it does not open automatically.
- 2). Click your iPhone in the "Devices" section of iTunes. Click the "Apps" tab at the top of the main iTunes window to view all the apps that you have previously purchased or downloaded free from the App Store.
- 3). Sort apps by name, kind, date, category or file size using the drop-down menu at the top of the window.
- 4). Click the box beside any app. Apps with checked boxes are synced to your iPhone. Apps without checks are not.
- 5). Change the arrangement of your apps on the iPhone by clicking and dragging them into place on the representation of the home screen.
- 1). Open iTunes. Select "iTunes Store" in the left panel. Click the "App Store" tab at the top of the main iTunes window and then click the "iPhone" button. A selection of new and popular apps is displayed.
- 2). Click on any app to see its details, price and screenshots.
- 3). Click on the app category located at the top left corner of the window to see more choices in that category.
- 4). Search for apps by name or subject by typing keywords in the "Search Store" field on the top right of the iTunes window.
- 5). Click on the "Buy App" or "Free" button to download the app to your computer. Then sync iTunes to your iPhone to copy it to your iPhone.
