    • 1). Place a sliding weight on the end of your main fishing line. Use a bank, pyramid, drop shot or similar type of weight with a metal eye attached. Insert the line through the eye and push the weight up the line and out of the way.

    • 2). Attach a barrel swivel to the end of the main line with a Uni knot. Insert the end of the line through the eye of the swivel. Pull 6 inches of the free end of the line beyond the swivel eye and up beside the main line to form a double line.

    • 3). Hold 2 inches of the double line in place above the swivel eye with your thumb and index finger. Turn the free end back toward the swivel to form an elongated loop. Wrap the free end of the line around the doubled line and through the elongated loop five times. Moisten the knot and pull tight.

    • 4). Cut an 18-inch long piece of line to use as a dropper from a filler spool. Tie one end of the leader to the barrel swivel with a Uni knot.

    • 5). Cut a second length of line 10 inches long to use as a second dropper. Tie the second dropper to the barrel swivel with a Uni knot.

    • 6). Snell a hook to both dropper lines with a Uni knot. Insert the free end of the dropper line through the eye of the hook. Pull 3 inches of line beyond the hook eye and along the hook shank.

    • 7). Hold the line in place along the hook shank. Turn the free end of the dropper line back toward the hook eye to form an elongated loop. Wrap the free end of the dropper around the hook shank and line five times. Pass the line through the loop with each turn. Moisten the knot and pull tight.

    • 8). Snell a hook to the second dropper line with a Uni knot.
