Cornwall is one of Britain's most visited tourist regions boasting excellent beaches and a wide variety of differing tourist accommodation.
The county is also home to two terrific theme parks in Flambards and Crealy that offer entertainment and thrilling rides for the whole family.
Any visitor to Cornwall will delight in the attractions on offer in the form of wonderful beaches, historic locations, and stunning scenery but sometimes what you really need is a theme park to take the kids to.
Cornwall has two theme parks, in the south is Flambards which is near Helston and just a few miles from Land's End and on the north coast close to Newquay is Crealy.
Both parks offer something of interest for kids and adults alike.
The Flambards Experience is based just outside the town of Helston close to the Lizzard Peninsula on the southern coast of Cornwall.
The park has a mixture of wonderful attractions such as the Victorian Village and exciting rides including roller coasters, log flumes, and rides suitable for young children.
Flambards is located close to an airforce base and these links can be seen with exhibits and rides along the theme.
The park also has a small garden area located near the rides for younger children and play areas when you tire of thrill seeking and just want to relax whilst the kids play.
Crealy is located on Cornwall's north coast close to Newquay the UK's surfing capital.
The rides include roller coasters and water rides as well as large play areas where children can burn off some energy.
Crealy is probably suitable for younger children than would visit Flambards and older kids may begin to get a little bored with some of the rides available.
As you would expect both parks also offer simple refreshments and food within although the prices can tend to be a little on the steep side.
