Yo-Zuri fishing lures and fishing tackle proudly presents final part of Fishing in Cedros Island. We hope you enjoy the story.

Each morning we would target the Yellowtails early then move on to the shoreline and bays in search of the famous Cedros Islands Calico Bass. For the Yellowtails we used a variety of techniques including the local lure standard of throwing the "Iron" both surface iron & deep water jigging iron, as well as Yo-Zuri hard bait lures. Our plan was to cast once we were within reach of the broken rock piles and kelp patties and troll our lures from the 20' Pangas boat with our 90-horse power Yamahas as we moved from spot to spot.

As we approached our first spot we decided to troll our way into the frenzy of diving sea birds and feeding sea lions off in the distance. We were able to boat several nice fish in the upper 20-pound to lower 30-pound range, which ate our Sashimi 3D Magnum fishing lures in the Sardine color with reckless abandon as we trolled at four knots.

For the next few hours we spent a magical time casting the Sashimi Bull Popper and Sliders' lures into boiling fish that provided memorizing hits and aerial attacks on our fishing lures that will last a lifetime in our memories.

Once we moved into the back bays the real fun started as we caught literally hundreds of Small, Medium, Large and Giant Pig Calico Bass on everything from soft Swimbaits to the new Yo-Zuri Crystal 3D Minnow Jointed lure in the Shallow "Waker" version. This sub surface fishing lure has an undulating swimming action that creates a surface disturbance that attracts fish from long distance and entices them to strike very aggressively, and boy did they ever! We cast many different styles of fishing tackle to these fish such as the Yo-Zuri Mag Minnow lures, Yo-Zuri Crystal 3D Minnow sinking lures, Yo-Zuri Edge Trembler Minnows lures and Sashimi Jointed lures in the Sardine color. As well as the local go to fishing lure of a jig and tail combo, which is very effective in the proper color as long as you do not mind replacing the tail every other cast. This does get expensive but as I said is productive; it's your choice as both caught quality fish.

As the days passed we caught and released hundreds of these gorgeous fish on our fishing lures to swim freely and spawn the next generation for all of us to catch in the future, like next year.

Until the next adventure stay tuned as Yo-Zuri is always on the water somewhere in the world and you know that we will be "FISHING THE BEST!"

Thank you for reading this latest escapade and journey from yo-Zuri fishing lures and fishing tackle, there will be more to come!
