How to Replace a KitchenAid Superba Selectra Burner
- 1). Turn off the range breaker in your service panel to disconnect the range's power supply.
- 2). Open the oven door, and then remove the screws securing the main top to the range.
- 3). Close the oven door, and then lift the main top up. Secure the main top using a wooden dowel or another prop.
- 4). Remove the screws securing the burner and burner brackets to the underside of the range. Note the number or letter of the slots in which the brackets are installed on the underside of the burner.
- 5). Remove the wires from the terminals on the burner, and then connect them to the terminals on the new burner.
- 6). Install the burner onto the underside of the range using the brackets and screws removed from the old burner. Ensure you install the brackets on the same slots as they were installed on the told burner.
- 7). Lower the main top, and then secure it using the screws that you removed from the underside of the top.
- 8). Restore the range's power supply to complete the replacement.
