Are You Trying To Get Fit Again After Quitting Smoking? Have You Considered Using a Home Lung Detox?

If you have finally managed to quit smoking for any period of time then you are probably now trying to regain a decent level of fitness.
There is absolutely no doubt that smoking effects how fit or not you are.
As an ex smoker I know exactly how much fitter I now feel than I did when I was on my twenty per day habit.
The science behind this fact is very straight forward.
Your body requires oxygen to be energized which is carried around in your bloodstream.
The oxygen comes from your lungs and is passed into the bloodstream through small air sacs called alveoli.
Smoking damages these air sacs or alveoli and so a smokers lungs exchange far less oxygen into the bloodstream.
So this is the main reason that a smoker tends to have less energy and stamina than a non-smoker.
So when I managed to quit smoking many years ago I first of all decided to try to do some regular gentle exercise.
Luckily I was not overweight so I took up 20 minutes jogging to start with and this made me feel good about myself because within a few weeks I could actually begin to feel the positive effects.
The other thing that I decided to do from both a body and mind point of view was a home lung detox.
What this does is speed up the process of cleaning out the lungs of all the tar and toxins that had built up over the years that I had smoked.
A home lung detox acts in 3 different ways: 1) It cleanses the lungs and so makes you just feel much better.
You find that your breathing is much clearer and deeper.
It is generally accepted that if the body is left to its own devices then it can take anywhere between 10 and 15 years for a smokers lungs to eliminate any traces of smoke damage.
A lung detox reduces this to just weeks.
2) It starts the process of repairing the lungs, and in particular the alveoli air sacs and the tiny hair like structures called cillia which are also a casualty of a prolonged smoking habit.
This is great news because it starts passing more oxygenated blood throughout your body.
3) It really helps to control the cravings that we all feel when starving the body of the nicotine in cigarettes.
