Why Coconut Oil is the Healthiest Fat on Earth

Coconut oil is the healthiest oil on earth because its fatty acid composition is very different from virtually all other fats out there.
Not all fats or oils are alike, obviously.
Each has its own beneficial use to mankind or God would not have created them in the first place.
But a closer look will reveal that coconut oil truly is a cut above the rest.
Just to be clear, fats are solid in room temperature while oils are liquid.
But one thing remains.
Both are composed of fat molecules called fatty acids.
There are short chain fatty acids (SCFA), medium chain fatty acids (MCFA) and long chain fatty acids (LCFA).
The size or length of the fatty acid molecule (SCFA, MCFA or LCFA) is immensely important because your body metabolizes fatty acids uniquely depending on their size.
Say LCFAs for instance.
Long chain triglycerides or LCTs (a triglyceride is three fatty acids joined together by a single glycerol molecule) need digestive enzymes and bile to be digested.
Once the bond holding the individual fatty acids is shattered, the resulting LCFAs are then absorbed into your intestinal wall.
The LCFAs are packaged into little bundles of fat and protein called lipoproteins and carried into your bloodstream to circulate your entire body.
During circulation, tiny particles of fat are discharged from the lipoproteins into your bloodstream.
This is the origin of the fat that collects in your fat cells and the source of the fat that accumulates in and clogs your artery walls.
If you adhere to a typical Western diet, there is a very good chance that the foods you eat are loaded with LCFAs The process is very different though with medium chain triglycerides (MCT).
MCTs digest so effortlessly that by the time they leave your stomach, they are already entirely broken down into individual fatty acids or MCFAs.
MCFAs bypass the lipoprotein stage because as they enter your intestinal tract, they are instantly absorbed into the portal vein and sent straight to your liver to help produce energy and power metabolism.
Coconut oil is 92% saturated and the only fat consisting of more than two-thirds MCFAs.
In fact, it is nature's richest source of MCFAs.
MCFA-rich coconut oil does not move around your bloodstream like LCFA-oils do.
As a result, it doesn't get deposited inside fat cells or block artery walls.
Coconut oil is PRO-Energy, NOT PRO-Fat! MCFA-oil coconut oil is unlike LCFA-oils such as soybean and corn oils, just to name a couple.
Their absorption, transport, metabolism and uses are completely different.
