Ring-the-Bell Bridal Shower Game
- Ring the Bell is a bridal-shower game that involves the host's ringing a bell and then asking guests wedding-related questions. The game can be played at any point in the shower, but works well early on to get people talking and laughing. The number of questions posed depends on how much time you want the game to take, but usually 10 to 20 questions works well. Have a list of questions ready and a pad of paper to keep track of points.
- As the host, you should be the only one to know the questions beforehand so that everyone else can play and have a fair chance of winning. Have everyone gather together. Ring the bell first and then ask everyone the question. The first person to answer the question correctly wins a point. After asking all questions, the person with the most points wins. You can award the winner a small party favor as her prize.
- The questions can be related to the upcoming wedding or the weddings of those in attendance. Sample questions include: "Who here has been married the longest?"; "Whose birthplace is closest to that of the bride?"; "Who can show me a pair of white socks?"; "Who can show me a receipt from the place where the couple is registered?": "Who can show me a picture of herself with her spouse?"; and "Who can show me a wedding announcement or invitation?"
