Why Did Everyone Become So Weak, Pessimistic, and Buy Into Defeatism - It"s Un-American
We all know that investor confidence and consumer confidence is very important for our economy's performance.
Many economists, as do I, believe that one-third of how well our economy does is exactly based on the consumer and investor confidence.
Now, as I go online, I cannot believe how many doom-and-gloomers there are writing about our economy, our society, and how America is supposedly going to hell in a hand basket, that's absolute nonsense, and it is bull.
Who are all these folks who promote this negativity, and pessimism? Well, some are political players, and they are trying to trash one political party over the other, so they can get elected.
Another group is a group which bets "short" on stocks, commodities, funds, and markets.
There are also folks who are involved in the selling of gold products to investors.
Obviously all these people stand to gain by promoting negativity about America.
Before Barack Obama was elected president of the United States the "world media" trashed the United States, and is there any wonder why? It wasn't really about President Bush, rather they knew if they trashed America they could get a foothold, in the realm of world trade, and money flows.
Also they wanted to wrestle away the authority, power, and strength of America in world affairs.
My question is why did everyone become so weak and pessimistic here in our own country, obviously we live here and we know this is the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind.
And even those people who don't believe that, or refuse to say it, because they say greatness is only perception based, I beg to differ with those folks, and chastise them for their political correctness.
Now, I realize that misery loves company and many people buy into defeatism because they are depressed.
Personally, I'm not sure what's up with all these depressed people, maybe it's the pharmaceutical industry, or maybe something is in the water, but I suspect it is the mass media hysteria which is causing all this negativity.
I also suspect that a lot of it is the socialism move and venues in our colleges, then permeating society.
The reality is that yes, life is tough, but if you work really hard in America, you can make something of yourself, and you can propel your family to greater heights.
This is the truth no matter what anyone else says, we have a middle class that proves that.
However, if one feels that they can make excuses, and complain their way to the top through blame gaming activities, race-baiting, and other such nonsense, then we will have more people doing the same and copying those methods.
If we really care about America, then it is time to stop this weakness, and tell people straight to their face when they start complaining or portray such a pessimistic attitude whether it be in the media or on the street, to just shut up.
Now then, if you are a weak person, that's not my fault, and I believe you are an American, and because Americans are not weak, you are going to have to rise to the occasion.
If you want my sympathy, then do something, show me.
But if you are going to come off with some excuse how someone else did you wrong, and you could never recover from that, then you are not an American.
When the going gets tough, Americans come up for the challenge, we are not afraid, we know what it takes, and we are willing to go the distance.
If you are not willing to go the distance, and you are into making excuses, or blaming another race, or another group of people for your inherent failures, that's your problem, and keep it to yourself.
Americans are tough, Americans are great, and the United States of America is a great nation.
There's nothing wrong with admitting that fact.
If you disagree with me, send me an e-mail, and I will hand you your mirror.
Weakness is not a human trait, and it sure as hell isn't an American trait.
Think on that.
There is no room for weakness.
