Many Americans Hurting Due to Obama Administration"s Policies - Including President Obama
The economic policies of the leadership of our nation will affect each one of us in some way.
For those who have businesses in the flow of money, they will be enriched thanks to their political contacts in Washington DC.
Those corporations which have the ability to lobby for handouts and corporate welfare will show incredibly nice profits and increased shareholder's equity.
However, for those who are not in the flow of money, all the rest of us, we can expect that there will be both good and bad which comes from presidential administration economic policies.
Currently, there isn't a whole lot of good news in our economy (other than the stock market and corporate earnings), and we have not recovered properly or fully from the last recession.
Things have been pretty dire for a good number of people while unemployment is still higher than it should be.
The cost of food, gasoline, energy, and other important commodities are all increasing, and at the same time the Obama Administration wants to raise our taxes.
That is of course if you are in the 50% of the people who pay taxes, and not the 50% who don't pay any federal income tax.
Additionally - speaking of taxes there's another point I would like to make.
There was a very interesting piece in the New York Times titled; "Obamas' Tax Return Shows Lower Household Income Than in 2009" by Jackie Calmes which was published on April 18, 2011.
The story was a review of President Obama's tax return, which shows he's made a less money since he's been President for a while, namely the money from his book sales have fallen off a cliff now.
Imagine that, surprised? I'm not, not at all, in fact, I've purchased all of President Obama's books now, no I didn't pay full-price, wouldn't do that in a million years.
I saw them at a local library book sale, and on the last day they were selling a "shopping bag" full of books for $1 and I saw the books there and figured they'd be interesting to have to either read or help start a fire in my fireplace come next winter.
Yes, I am serious, and don't forget this is an opinion article.
It is rather fascinating to me that someone who is the President of the United States can ignore the damage which occurs when the federal government takes money from the people, and wastes it on silly programs that are unneeded, rather than letting the people decide what they want to do with their own money.
Many Americans are hurting due to the Obama Administration's policies, including the Obama's themselves, as Barack Obama's book sales, and royalties have tanked.
Perhaps someday they will wake up and understand what everyone is talking about, because it appears they do not live in the same dimension as the rest of us, and they clearly don't understand the hardships they are imposing on our population or future generations.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
