Breast Implants - What is Your Motivation?

Are you thinking about getting breast implants? Have you asked yourself about that? If not, it is time to do that.
While there are many wonderful reasons to get them, there are also some terrible ones.
Do you think that a bigger chest will automatically make you prettier, popular, social, and give you a better life? It might and chances are, if you go into it with the right attitude, it probably will.
But, you have to have realistic expectations.
Changing this aspect of your appearance may not make that big of a difference if there are bigger problems brewing inside.
It is possible that they will give you such a boost that you will ooze self-confidence and feel sexy.
Just this change in attitude will have people gravitating towards you, not necessarily your chest size.
But, because you feel better and more comfortable in your body, people will notice a difference.
Getting implants will not make up for or fix deeper issues.
They will simply mask them and might even make things worse.
Counseling may be necessary to address these before you decide on having surgery.
Your surgeon may even recommend it after your consultation.
Here's another one: Is your partner pressuring you to get them? Maybe he is always pointing out other women to you or wishing aloud that you were bigger.
It could be that he has even come right out and said he wants you to get them.
Do you feel like it will make him love you more or make him stay faithful? If any of these thoughts pop into your head while you consider increasing your chest size, maybe you should take a step back.
If someone loves you, they should love you for who you are and as you are.
He should not try to coerce you into changing something about yourself to make him happier.
Think about it.
If he is that superficial, do you really think increasing your chest size will improve your relationship? Now, if you are in a relationship, it is important to consider the other person's feelings about the issue.
Discuss it with your partner, your children and your family.
It doesn't hurt to get opinions, just remember that the final decision is yours.
If the subject comes up, no matter who broaches it, make sure that you come to a decision that you are comfortable with.
Don't let the suggestion hurt your feelings.
Talk about it- communication is important! Have fun with the topic.
If together, you have decided to go ahead with the procedure, let him help you choose a size.
(Just don't let him convince you to go too big.
) Remember, no one should pressurize you or make you feel less than a woman because of your breast size.
The best reason to get breast implants is because you want them.
Maybe you were handed size A genes or the kids just took a lot out of them, if they will help you feel better about yourself then go for it.
Just remember, it is your body.
You are the one taking the risks by having surgery and you are the one who will have to maintain the health of them for years after.
It is a big commitment and you have to be certain about what you want.
Once you've decided on breast implants, choose a great surgeon who takes the time to discuss the process with you.
He will make sure that your expectations are realistic and will guide you through the process.
Always verify his credentials and make sure he is board certified to perform the procedure.
With careful consultation, you can be confident of getting the results you want (not what someone else wants).
