How to Clean ResMed Humidifiers
- 1). Unplug the ResMed humidifier unit. Slide the water tub out of the humidifier system.
- 2). Drain all water from the water tub.
- 3). Pour 1/2 tsp. of mild dish soap into a bucket or bowl. Add 1 qt. of warm tap water to the bucket or bowl. Mix the sudsy water well.
- 4). Wipe the sudsy solution over the water tub's surfaces using a cloth. Rub all grime off the water tub.
- 5). Rinse the water tub thoroughly with fresh water.
- 6). Lay the water tub on a clean towel, and let the tub air-dry. Keep the water tub out of direct sunlight.
- 7). Reinsert the clean, dry water tub into the humidifier unit. Plug the humidifier's electrical cord back into the electrical socket.
- 1). Unplug the ResMed humidifier unit. Slide the water tub out of the humidifier system.
- 2). Drain all water from the water tub.
- 3). Fill a bucket or bowl with 5 cups of warm tap water. Add 1/2 cup of distilled vinegar to the water. Mix the distilled vinegar solution well.
- 4). Wipe the vinegar solution over the water tub's surfaces using a cloth. Remove all white deposits from the water tub.
- 5). Rinse the water tub with fresh water.
- 6). Lay the water tub on a clean towel, and let the tub air-dry. Keep the water tub out of direct sunlight.
- 7). Replace the clean, dry water tub in the humidifier unit. Plug the humidifier's electrical cord back into the electrical socket.
