Motorola i860 Tricks
- Access the main menu and scroll down to "Call Forward." Choose "Forward" and then select "All Calls." Pick "To" and then type the 10-digit number you want your phone calls forwarded to. If you know the person you want the calls forwarded to but don't know the number, choose "Search" and go through your contacts. From the "Call Forward" screen, select "To" and then pick "Off" to disable the call forwarding you previously set up.
- Scroll down to "Camera" from the main menu. You can select multiple options to alter the look of your pictures. Hit the "Options" button and go to zoom to get closer to the objects of your photos. You can keep the standard size of zoom at twice or four times the normal level. The "Spotlight" option illuminates everything in your photo within a two-foot radius. Choose "Self Timer" to have the camera wait 10, 15 or 20 seconds before taking a photo.
- While the i860 has default icons on its main menu, you can change them to the applications you use most often. Choose "Settings" after you are in the main menu. Pick "Personalize" and then go down to "Menu Options." Select "Add or Remove Applications." All of the applications on your phone are listed with a box beside them. Click on the box to make a check-mark appear and ensure that the application will be on the main menu. Click again to remove the application from the menu.
- Set up call filters to have control over what calls go through to your phone. From your current profile in the main menu, select "Call Filter" and pick "Phone." The "Off" setting lets all calls through, while the "All" setting does not enable any calls. Choose "All Contacts" so that you only get calls from people in your contact list. Pick "Some Contacts" to go through every contact and choose the ones you want to be able to call.
