How to Add Pictures to a CD
- 1). Insert a blank compact disc into your computer's CD burner drive. Wait for your computer to recognize that a disc has been loaded into the computer.
- 2). Locate and open the folder containing the pictures you want to save to the compact disc. CDs have a storage capacity of approximately 740 MB. Before you transfer the folder to the CD, make sure the folder size is close to the 740 MB file size. This way a single CD can be used for each folder in your photo archive.
- 3). Right-click the folder and select from the drop-down menu "Send to" look for the drive containing the empty CD, click the drive icon and select "OK."
- 4). Remove the CD after the pictures have been copied to it. Use a felt-tip marker to write on the front of the CD the contents of it. Place the CD into its jewel case and keep your archived CDs in a cool dry place in your home.
