How to Make a Wand From a Copper Tube

    • 1). Cut an 8-inch length of copper tubing with a pipe cutter. If you have an obliging hardware store, it may cut it for you.

    • 2). Coat the inside of the pipe with silicone caulking. Caulk only the first 1 1/2 inches and then gently press the bottom of the crystal into the caulk-covered end of the pipe so that the pointed end of the crystal is at the top of the wand. If both ends of the crystal are pointed, as is often the case with quartz, choose one end to be the tip of the wand and glue the other end into the pipe.

    • 3). Wrap the 30-inch leather strip around the pipe to form a handle. Attach feathers, beads and other embellishments to the copper wand with the glue gun.
