The Bottom Line

The Two silicone dildo from Wet for Her offers a unique dildo experience, both for the wearer and the receiver (or just for you, if you happen to be using it on your own). The dildo requires fingers and manual dexterity, as it is designed to fit over the middle and forefinger, extending both the length and girth of your fingers, for what gets clinically called "digital stimulation" and un-clinically, fingering.

Designed in Paris as a response to too many phallic dildos, more than anything the Two brings a sense of fun and intrigue to sex play.

Guide Review - ?Two Dildo

Like great art, great sex toys aren't just about immediate gratification. A great sex toy won't just get you off, it changes your perspective, it gives you a glimpse into an alternative way of thinking about and experiencing pleasure.

The best sex toys convey a unique sexual perspective, in addition to a high quality buzz or poke or turn. By this criteria, the Two Dildo, by Wet for Her qualifies as a great sex toy.

Developed, according to the company site, by two lesbian-identified French women, the Two dildo offers a representational sex toy for penetration, but one that isn't phallic. Here the dildo represents the fingers, and in fact acts as a digital extension, fitting over the fore and middle finger and extending their length and girth considerably.

It's a neat idea, and a welcome alternative for people who enjoy penetration but have no interest in things that are shaped like a penis. Two is also unique in it's feel, as it's wide but much narrower than most dildos, and the feeling of penetration with it isn't like the feeling of fingers, but neither is it like a regular dildo. Two is also nice as it offers a relatively seamless way to integrate a sex toy into your sex play. Once you slip Two over you ringers it becomes in some ways part of your hand.

Which is not to suggest that using the Two Dildo is like using your own fingers. The wearer loses whatever sensory inputs they have from their own fingers, and the dildo doesn't bend at the joints where fingers usually do. Also, you need to make sure you find a comfortable angle to use the Two, otherwise it can be tiring and result in sore hand muscles (it probably would not be a good choice for someone with carpal tunnel syndrome although it really depends on the angle and motion).

The flip side of possible pain is that I can see how Two could be a toy that would give some people more reach and activity. For example some folks who can move their hand, but not hold a dildo, or people who might have shorter fingers, may find the Two allows them to explore penetration in a new way.

Like all wearable dildos, there's a learning curve to using the Two Dildo, and if you and your partner aren't comfortable giving feedback, it may not be the right toy for you as it's easy to go too deep or get too vigorous with the Two, and without immediate feedback the whole thing could end up less fun than annoying.

Whether it becomes a main player in your sexual routine or only makes an occasional cameo, for under $40 the solid silicone Two Dildo is a durable and interesting twist for any couple looking to explore a new kind of penetration exchange. And it's hard to use it without a sense of humor, which is one of the best compliments you can pay to any sex toy.
