Today the incidence of people all over the world having sexually transmitted disease continues to grow at a rapid phase.
This has become the most commonly reported infectious disease in the whole world.
This rapid growth is due to the sexual activity of a people who lack promiscuity, and because sexual intercourse provides an easy opportunity for this microorganism to find, a favorable host, people that are sexually active is becoming an easy target.
The condition and the disease they acquire depend on what type of genital sores, and infection manifestation that they have.
Thankfully, today there are medicines that can cure sexually transmitted disease, such as different types of genital sores.
Genital sores are lesions that are around the male and female genitalia.
Microorganisms that are transferred sexually from one host to the other cause this condition.
The lesions are the physical manifestation of the infection itself.
Genital sores are a great discomfort on a person that has this infection, it is often painful, itchy, which produces a discharge which are often times accompanied by foul odor, and it may appear with no apparent symptoms at all.

A person who has this infection is more likely to have HIV or human immunodeficiency virus.

Granuloma Inguinale - is caused by the bacterium Calymmatobacterium granulomatis.
It causes chronic inflammation of the genitals.
This is infection is commonly acquired in some tropical countries and areas.
This is spread through vaginal and anal intercourse.
These are characterized by skin bumps and usually it is painless but they easily bleed when it is injured or scratched.
The bumps have nodules inside, this spreads completely around the genital area, and eventually the skin discolors and wears out.
Thus, destroying the genital tissues, and if left untreated it can damage your joints, bones and liver as well.

Genital herpes - this viral infection is caused by herpes simplex virus.
There are two types of herpes virus; one is HV1, which cannot be transmitted sexually and often infects the mouth and the HV2 is the sexually transmitted virus.
Unfortunately, there are no medications and treatment that is available, that will completely destroy nor remove this virus once you are infected.
The medicine that are available right now will only stop further outbreak and hinder its occurrence.
A continuous antiviral medication is needed to prevent and reduce the risk of transmitting this virus to other people.

Syphilis - the bacteria that causes syphilis is called Treponema pallidum, which enters the mucus membranes and spreads via the blood.
A person infected with these bacteria can have lesions or ulcers in the genital area and other parts of the body such as mouth, tongue, lips, and anus, usually this sores are not painful but when scratched or rub this leaks a clear fluid that is very dangerous because of the virus that is in the nodules.
Syphilis can also affect the fetus if the mother is infected with the virus.
This type of virus can eventually spread throughout the body damaging vital organs.
There are different types of genital sores that can infect a person and posses a health risk on a person especially if he or she is sexually active.
Do not let some minor sore left untreated especially if it is in the genital area.
A simple nodule or bump can become a big health issue if left unchecked.
