The Most Important Element of The Sales Letter

Listen up because some of you are suffering from bad sales conversions because you were ignorant of the most important element of your sales letter.
Do you have any idea what that element is? Do you think it's the P.
S (postscript) or is it the main body copy? Is it the headline that's at the top of the page or is it the graphics? If you guessed that the headline is the most important element, you're absolutely right.
And if not, let me give you the statistics and figures from studies of this.
Some say that the headline is 50% to 75% of the ad or sales letter whereas some other more recent studies say that it's actually 80%.
I would personally feel it's much closer to 80% than 50%.
In fact, some experts have said that if you have a very successful (that's to say attention grabbing and benefit selling) headline, you have pretty much won half the battle and the next half is pretty simple.
All you need to do is create the closing and you're done.
Yeah ...
if only it was that easy you say? It doesn't have to be that difficult.
Let me give you a tip.
Each time you need a headline for your sales letter or for a marketing email, I would recommend that you brainstorm at least 10-30 headlines and do an A/B split test to arrive at your "best possible" headline.
I cannot state the important enough.
Remember, 80 cents on the dollar is actually your headline.
If your headline doesn't sell, you're a dead goose.
