How to Make a 7-Person Round Robin
- 1). Number the teams or individuals participating in the round robin by seeds one through seven to simplify the process.
- 2). Set the first rotation so that one plays two, three plays four, five plays six and seven has a bye.
- 3). Change the schedule in the second rotation so that one plays four, two plays six, five plays seven and three has the bye.
- 4). Make the third rotation so that one plays six, two plays seven, three plays five and four has the bye.
- 5). Set the fourth rotation in a way that six plays seven, four plays five, two plays three and one has the bye.
- 6). Have one play seven, three play six and two play four in the fifth rotation. This gives the fifth seed the bye this round.
- 7). Set the sixth rotation so that one plays five, three plays seven, four plays six and two has the bye.
- 8). Arrange the final round so that one plays three, two plays five, four plays seven and six has the bye.
