Will President Obama Be Able to Keep All His Campaign Promises in This Economy?

Well, we have a new President, his name is Barrack Hussein Obama, a very unlikely name for a US President, but that simply makes him all the more unique and adds to his mystery, and makes him intriguing; good for him.
In fact, one of his own great quotes was; "just because I do not look like one of the gentleman on our coin or currency, does not mean we cannot bring about change.
" Indeed, and to his creidt, that is an excellent point of contention.
Still, anyone who bothered to follow that election has to be asking themselves right about now, how can anyone who has made that many promises possibly pull it all off? Oh yah; "Yes, we can!" Okay fine, let's see it, say his critics.
And they may have a point, as things are looking a little rocky in our economy right now.
Fixing things is a job, that even the greatest president of all times would have a challenge with.
You see, it's not that Obama's critics do not wish to believe or that I do not want to believe for that matter.
Incidentally, I have always been a big fan of the phrase; Believe to Achieve.
As, if you do not believe change is possible, well, you certainly will not change.
It's not going to happen by magic, it will take the undenying belief of millions of people to make it happen.
Now then, considering the current state of our economy and the promises of how President Elect Obama has made to all his supporters, one has to ask is there really any possible way to achieve President Obama's stated goals using those methods, plans and strategies he has proposed.
In fact, if he implements his strategies and plans, it's likely to turn the current recession into the "Obama Depression" which will serve no one.
Whether the economy recovers quickly or not, the years of a depression will be attributed by name to the man in charge during that time.
Of course, there is the likelihood that President Obama, has no intentions on keeping his campaign promises and only used those words to motivate the mob or crowds to vote for him, in that case he has served his purpose, but has he served ours?Does that sound too cynical? It shouldn't as we are discussing the reality and the created realities of politics in America, nothing new about that.
Philosophically speaking, if one is elected on false promises then no matter what the outcome, he has still violated the public trust and is thrust into the "means and ends" debate; something that America will not stand for in a President, they expect integrity.
And without picking on Obama, we see politicians play the political rhetoric to such extreme at all levels of government from City Dog Catcher to the President of the United States.
So, please consider these comments on a philosophical basis only.
