Growing Number of Foreign Nationals in the Philippines - What Do We Get?

Over the past few years we can't help but notice the growing number of foreign nationals living in the Philippines.
Most of those migrating to the Philippines are Americans, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Indians and Europeans.
There may be several reasons why they have migrated.
Some are married to Filipinas, some came here to invest in businesses, some came to study, some chose to live here because of the low cost of living and some came here simply because they love the Philippines - its natives, food and culture.
Another major reason why more and more nationals are coming here in our country is because the Philippines is actually being developed into a retirement haven for foreign nationals.
Here, retirees can afford the luxury of living a good life which they can't afford in their native homeland.
Here in the Philippines, products and services are cheap.
Food here is relatively cheap compared to food in Japan, U.
S.
and other countries.
Another thing that they can easily afford here is education.
It is cheaper to study here and teachers here have a good command of teaching so foreign nationals are able to afford quality education with lesser spending.
What do we benefit in return with this growing number of foreign nationals migrating to the Philippines?
  • We are able to impart our great Filipino culture and heritage to other races.
  • More foreign investments in the Philippines which means more jobs for Filipinos.
  • There would be a higher demand for our products and services.
  • A boost in the Philippine Real Estate Industry.
This significant boost in the Philippine Real Estate Industry and all other foreign investments would greatly contribute to our growing economy.
There would be a higher demand for living space such as houses, condominiums for sale and office spaces.
Foreign students coming here would also need condominiums and apartments for rent thus adding a great boost to our real estate industry.
