It Is Great to Be an American on 9/11 and After
It is a great honor to be an American.
We have to be even handed with our policies in the world so we do not create animosity and give reason to those who have suffered, to attack us.
We are a wealthy nation, but somehow we cannot get rid of our prejudices and not reflect them in our policies, when we are dealing with the world, as well as within our country.
We pour billions of dollars to help the world people live better.
But we never question the governments we give aids to, whether they are treating their people fairly and equally, as human as possible.
Our Political system and therefore our governments are vulnerable to pressure group, pressures.
Israelis will pressure, Armenians will pressure, Greeks will pressure, Big Oil will pressure, Big Corporations will pressure and those governments of ours will buckle and give in and cause injustices inside and outside.
Therefore, we create our own enemies.
We, the people, whom we elected to bring peace and prosperity to our nation, are very aware of this; prejudice, however, it is all for the game of POLITICS! Do we believe the terror that has taken over our social discussion is our own creation? The politicians of our country are not any different then the politicians of any other nation.
They will tell you what you want to hear and do what the pressure, interest, groups tell them to do.
As far as people who elected them concerned; they have short memories and they are bunch a sheep to be herded.
They, the voted in ones, are there for the number One, themselves.
In our country, now! people are suffering, poor population have tripled since the year 2008.
Food kitchens for public do not have enough revenue to feed all of the hungry.
Over $20,000,000 Americans are looking for jobs.
Jobs are sent abroad!? Corporations big and small; hoarding countless Trillions of Dollars and the banks who got saved by the Politicians, with people's money, don't give a damn.
Profit is the name of the game.
We are a Capitalist country!? All Americans should work hard and save the nation.
All Americans should pay high taxes and pay the Debt that is created by the politicians.
All the Americans should keep quiet and continue living like sheep.
They will be herded to the green pastures.
SHUT UP!, all THOSE AMERICANS, who voted for all THOSE POLITICIANS, exercising their right to vote.
We are a great and forgiving nation.
We have a very short memory.
We want to be herded.
We don't want to think for ourselves.
People of America; our job is to live dumb and happy and not get in to politics.
We have bigger problems; like; Our homes, that are under water, Our jobs that are at the mercy of those corporations who took our money and don't seem to care about our joblessness.
Those of us who have no homes, those of us who have no jobs and those of us who can't pay the mortgage, are suppose to stand down and not make any fuss! Is this America.
Is this what we love about America.
Is this the representation we want from the Chosen Ones?
