Grand Theft Auto IV Reviews
In Grand Theft Auto IV, you will be playing the role of Niko, who is also the main protagonist and comes from Eastern Europe.
You travel to Liberty City in search for a better life after being persuaded by your cousin Roman.
You have committed a number of crimes in your life before going to Liberty City.
The story will be delivered in a variety of new ways, allowing you to create your own destiny meaning that all the missions will have several different outcomes, all of which ultimately effect the outcome of the game and the relationships between you and the other supporting cast.
So far, grand theft auto iv has been announced for PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360.
However, rumors has spread like wild fire that the PC version will be announced around June or July 2008.
Although no one can guess which platform has more benefits than the other, but I personally feel that the PS3 version will have a better game play experience due to the new DualShock 3 controller where the game will utilize the Sixaxis controller's motion-sensing abilities.
Another great feature of grand theft auto 4 is that there will be multiplayer capabilities which can be accessed via Xbox Live and PlayStation network.
The multiplayer mode is accessed by pulling out your mobile phone at any time during the single-player game.
A small LCD appears at the bottom right of your view, and in one of the many small touches in the game, different players see different mobile operator logos on their home screens.
There are altogether 15 multiplayer game modes in grand theft auto iv and the game rules are determined by the host of the match (Vehicles types, volume of traffic, number of pedestrians, police presence, weapons and weather can all be controlled).
The multiplayer games can support up to 16 players.
You are unable to use Niko for the online mode but your online character is fully customizable, You can alter you characters race, sex, hair, clothing etc.
The map used in multiplayer is the same map that is used for single player, the full Liberty City.
