Why Make Music? Who Benefits From My Music?

Every now and then we come across questioning the things we do, and the things we are considering becoming involved in.
Is it going to be enough useful, beneficial, and important for me or for someone else? Is it worth investing my time and energy in? What am I going to get out of it? Such reasoning is normal part of our self-defense mechanism, that is trying to ensure that we become involved in things that truly help and serve us.
While you can see direct physically sensible results and benefits from activities like building a house, cleaning the rooms, or simply making yourself a sandwich, music as an invisible and untouchable object may appear quite far from providing a real benefit.
But there lies the trick: if you want to find the value of music, you need to look into the emotional and spiritual aspect of it.
Yes, we are physical beings, but we are also emotional and spiritual beings.
While our bodies need physical objects, such as food, water, and shelter, there are other invisible parts of us that require attention as well, such as emotional and spiritual bodies.
Those parts of us are rather complex, but in a nutshell, we are aware of them through our feelings.
This way, the mood that you are in, reflects the condition of your emotional body.
Now, music can be used to influence our emotional bodies.
Okay, that sounds interesting, but how does it help anyone besides putting them into a slightly better mood? Well, let me start by saying that our emotional and physical bodies are closely related to each other.
This means that when you are emotionally stressed and cluttered, it has an influence on your body as well: you may start getting physically tired, or even get sick.
However, if your emotional body is tuned into a positive mood, you are more likely to be physically healthy and full of energy.
Music is one of the most efficient, fun, and ancient methods for taking care of your body - not just the emotional side of yourself, but music also affects the physical side.
Being aware of such quality is like having an extra tool for dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression, while affecting the well-being of your physical body.
Moreover, if you perform or play beautiful music, you are creating something meaningful in this world: you are creating an object that carries a positive energy.
And whoever comes into contact with your music, will be influenced by its energy.
Music is one of the best ways to remind ourselves of a better state of being.
