On the Charts - Billboard Country Singles and Albums
Make it four for Kenny Chesney and Uncle Kracker with their duet "When The Sun Goes Down". The rest of the Top five is pretty much the same. At No. 2, Keith Urban's "You'll Think Of Me," at No. 3, Buddy Jewell's "Sweet Southern Comfort." At No. 4, moving up one spot is Rascal Flatts' "Mayberry," and at No. 5 is John Michael Montgomery's "Letters From Home."
Rodney Atkins song "Someone To Share It With" wins this week for the most upward movement of a song on the chart, moving up 9 spots from No.
58 to No. 49. "Whiskey Lullaby" from Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss comes in second, moving up 8 spots from No. 42 to No. 34. Jimmy Wayne's "You Are" moves up 7 spots from No. 59 to No. 52, and Gretchen Wilson just keeps on moving up with her "Redneck Woman" which jumps 6 spots from No. 14 to No. 8 this week.
Debuting this week is Terri Clark with a song from her forthcoming Greatest Hits album, called "Girls Lie Too," coming in at No. 53. Big & Rich, who's first single "Good Little Girls" peaked at No. 11 have a new one this week called "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)" debuting at No. 58.
Kenny Chesney's When The Sun Goes Down continues to hold onto the top spot on the album chart for a ninth week. At No. 2 is Toby Keith's Shock'n Y'All, which moves up two spots from last week. At No. 3 once more is Keith Urban with Golden Road, with Josh Turner moving up one spot to No. 4 with Long Black Train, and Tracy Lawrence's Strong, which was new last week drops 3 spots to No. 5.
Debuting at No. 7 this week is Songs Inspired By The Passion Of The Christ , which is the companion album to the movie.
Debuting at No. 28 is Johnny Cash's My Mother's Hymn Book, and Blue County's Blue County debuts at No. 32.
