Wall Brush

• Pool brushes attach to a long pole, usually made of fiberglass or plastic since these materials are waterproof. The brushes screw into the end of the pole, and you can attach different types of brushes to these poles. The pool wall brush is usually slightly curved at either end, allowing you to follow the contours of your wall. These brushes are usually about 18 inches long, and they have fine plastic bristles. To use this brush, run it along the walls of your underwater environment and scrub up and down. Scrub harder to remove algae or dirt.
  
  

Scrubber

• A tile scrubber is used specifically for cleaning tiles both on the outside and the inside of a pool. You can purchase these tools either with extremely long poles or as handheld tools, which you can use for cleaning tiles near the waterline. Tile scrubbers usually have a sponge head, but you also can get these tools with bristles and nylon scouring pads. The nylon scouring pads help with removing stuck-on debris. To use the pole scrubber, attach it to the pole and rub it along the tiles of your pool. The hand scrubber is used in the same way, except it's more labor intensive.
  
  

Pool Vacuum

• A swimming pool vacuum works similar to a standard vacuum cleaner. You can choose from different types of vacuum cleaners. For example, with overnight pool cleaners, you simply drop the vacuum into the water and then remove it the next day. It automatically vacuums the pool. The type of vacuum that you need depends on the type of underwater environment that you have. If you have a pool or pond liner, purchase a vacuum that will not rip the liner.
  
  

Vacuum Heads

• Vacuum heads attach to your pool vacuum cleaner, and these heads come in different sizes and shapes. For example, the curved vinyl liner vacuum head is for pool and point liners, and it won't damage the vinyl. Generally, vacuum heads are rectangular, curved or triangular. The rectangular heads are mainly for cleaning the bottom of your pool while the curved heads are multipurpose. Use the triangular head for cleaning corners.
