Does P90X Work for Really Fat People?

People have asked me many times does P90X work for really fat people? I have to tell you off the bat that I used to be very overweight.
I was fat unhealthy and lived a lifestyle that never included working out or trying to eat well.
I was over 220 pounds at 5'10" and at the age of 21 had high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
When I started the P90X workout program I couldn't do 1 pull-up! Also I could only do at best 5 to 7 push-ups.
But P90x will work for really fat people if you do it everyday and devote yourself to it.
Take it from a guy like me who used to be huge, in a bad way! At first you may not be able to keep up with the super fit people on the videos at first but do your best! That is all that really matters! After doing the program for the full 90 days by the end I was able to do 10-15 pull-ups per set and 20-30 push-ups.
The best advice I can give to others about how to make sure you have success with this program if you are overweight and fat like I was is to make sure to do each workout everyday.
It doesn't matter if you are only doing a few push-ups from your knees or if you can only do 10 minutes of the cardio workout.
Keep trying and you will improve.
I have been where some people reading this may be today.
It is a difficult road to go down having to lose weight but P90X does work for really fat people I know because I was one! So here are my five tips for over weight people asking themselves does P90X work for fat people.
• Devote yourself to it every day.
Doesn't matter if you don't do amazing everyday but show up! • Make sure to get on a sensible diet.
Pick a diet and stick too it.
Diet constitutes half the battle.
• Consistency is key.
You have to make it through the full 90 days! Don't expect to be a different person after 24hrs.
It takes time! But stick in there and you will get results.
• Drink plenty of water! Hydration is key in any workout program.
Stay away from any soda or refined sugar.
• Set goals! This is huge for success in anything! Make sure to know what you want and work hard to get it! Work with these ideas and there is now way you wouldn't see results with P90X! Please let me know how you are doing with this program! It is amazing!
