The art of doing personal prophecies is not free from error.
From time to time part of a prophecy I do will be wrong.
This article looks at the possible causes to this happening as I do personal prophecies.
Doing a personal prophecy correctly means that you have spoken or written the very words of God to another person.
As we are humans and we have limited language we are all subject to error but two main ways a personal prophecy can be wrong or parts of it wrong are as follows.
In the midst of a personal prophecy, the person that is delivering it can add their own words in the midst of it.
This can be done without even noticing, which in many times it is a person just trying to explain what they are hearing.
Of course people can add to a personal prophecy as a type of way to control the person that is getting the prophetic word.
Another way a prophetic word can be wrong is that a false anointing can come upon a prophetic person and the person can speak with the wrong spirit.
If this is the case most times to person that is receiving the prophecy knows that it is off base though this can still cause damage.
John Paul Jackson, a seasoned prophet says that the maturity of a prophet increases the God in each prophecy.
He says a novice prophet will have some God and some flesh in his prophecies and yet a seasoned and mature prophet will have all God and no flesh.
Having error in a prophecy is not a sign that a person is a false prophet.
