When you take the time to build a blog, you want to make sure you can make some good money from it.

Share Experiences That Are Yours And Are Real - When it is possible, you want to include your own personal experiences, beliefs and methods in your blog posts.
You need to be willing to "stick your neck out" a little bit and share what has worked for you in a given situation.
If you are genuine and share things from your personal perspective, you will become a very attractive provider of information to your readers.

Share In Bite Sized Chunks - Your readers and followers are very busy people.
They want the "Readers Digest Version" of what you have to share with them.
Do your best to avoid long, drawn out stories and explanations.
Use audio and video as possible to make it easier for you to share your experiences.
People want to learn from you and understand your experiences, but they want to do it with a limited time investment on any given day.
This is something that you will learn over time.
It is perfectly fine to have a series of posts to cover a story or concept.
It will keep your readers coming back, and they will actually read the information when it is provided in manageable chunks.

Strive For Consistency - You want to put content up on your site on a fairly routine basis.
You also want to try to follow some type of schedule.
I am not always great at doing this myself.
When you have a cadence to your posting, your readers will learn when to come to your blog to get the latest and greatest information you have to share.

Strive For Congruency - You want things on your blog to make sense.
You want your topics to follow some type of theme.
When you keep things congruent, you readership learns what to expect from you.
When you become predictable in the content your provide for your readers, your readership will become predictable in their visits and their interaction and feedback to you.
This helps you develop strong followers and "fans for life".
These are the people that will follow your recommendations and will buy products and services from you.
