We Must Get Tough on Illegal Immigration
Well it is quite obvious that illegal immigration is becoming a huge issue and has caught Americans in a firestorm of controversy.
Of course the mass media has taken this and even blown it more out of proportion.
In the online forums and blogs we hear such things as; We must get tough on illegal immigration.
I do not want people coming into our nation and setting up shop who we cannot vouch for.
I do not want illegal drugs in my country polluting the minds of our children and teens.
I do not want illegal guns coming into our nation either.
Everyone seems to think this is some sort of joke.
It isn't; we need to get tough.
We need stiff penalty and barriers on the borders.
Then a Hispanic America Soldier gets on and states; Oh so you thank me for supporting the country and then diss my heritage.
Just because someone comes back from Iraq does not mean they should be allowed to suggest that "breaking the law" illegal immigration is okay.
It isn't okay.
And someone who saw their buddies blown up from ammunition, which came over the border from Syria and Iran ought to know that.
It is not okay, not for a veteran, soldier, politician, La La Liberal from MD to suggest that "illegal" immigration is okay.
It is not okay.
Further all the other stuff, which infiltrates our nation is not okay either.
Anyone who supports illegal immigration to the United States of America clearly has no conception of the histories of civilizations.
That means anyone, soldier or not.
It is not raciest to support "legal" immigration.
It is not raciest to condemn "illegal" activity or illegal immigration.
You cannot win this argument on any philosophical or intellectual grounds.
It is not about Hispanics it is about "illegal aliens" no matter what country they are from you see? Illegal Immigration is illegal and must be completely stopped.
And while we are at it securing our borders maybe we can stop some of these drugs and guns coming across too.
Anyone who supports criminal activity is a borderline law abiding citizen and therefore I question their integrity and their comments.
Consider all this in 2006.
