Republican Ticket 2012

Not long ago, I was discussing politics with an acquaintance of mine, and we got to talking about the Republican Candidates and all the latest turmoil about Mr.
Cain and a 14-year old settled out of court, gag ordered settlement concerning sexual harassment.
We discussed Cain's qualifications rather than the allegations being bantered around the left-leaning media.
Personally, I do like Cain because he was a "Franchisor" which is what I did, so I know he knows what I know, and thus, he knows how the business community works and could really get jobs going in America.
Still, with regards to Mr.
Cain, I do understand the severe climb it would take to get him elected, and these "unfit to lead" political character assassinations in the media do leave a sour taste in the Republican Base.
I'd like to see Cain as head of the Small Business Administration, and he'd probably do well as a VP traveling around the US, and he'd get America back to work.
Then, we discussed Mitt Romney and how he could capture a percentage of Democrats fed up with the current Teleprompter in Chief, so he is middle of the road = electable, and has the wherewithal to fund-raise, which will be a major concern as our current President can certainly raise lots of money from the Hollywood Elite and all those political favors which come with crony capitalism.
Now then, something about Perry bugs me, I don't know what it is, perhaps it's his negative campaigning, but what was Ronald Reagan's rule "Thou shalt attack other Republican candidates" - I agree with that.
You see, I want substantive dialogue with the American People on the issues, important issues such as; The Economy, Iran, Entitlements, Military Strength, Trillion Dollar Student Loan Bubble, Freddie and Fanny, Crony Capitalism's Toll, A Legitimate and Reality Based Energy Policy, Education, Trade, Technology, Space, Real and Legitimate Environmental Concerns So, with that said, hey the only one who is there is Mitt and my acquaintance likes Newt, so do I.
Newt is the only one that can hold his ground on a solid philosophical basis, in such an intellectual conversation, while Romney measures his words so carefully with political correctness, he is often turning off the base.
Mitt and Newt of course; a nice ticket in itself, but we need someone who can also speak to the "people" at a folksy level, that would be Cain.
You know, sometimes I wish I were running, I can do all that - it's time to get this country back to doing what we are good at.
Okay so, a wild-card might be the Mormon Religion with Romney.
Still, the issue with Romney and LDS is one that can be played as a "race-baiting" deal if push comes to shove, what I don't understand is why other Christian faiths have a problem with his Mormon religion, other than they don't understand it much, and thus, fall for the negative connotations they'd perhaps heard rumored occasionally; polygamy, etc.
But, that is not what the LDS Church is about today.
The reality is this country is huge and we need a TEAM with a STRONG LEADER who doesn't do BS, PC, or tell everyone what they want to hear for the camera, just to please the fickle masses constantly polled and tuning into the 24/7 Internet news cycle.
We are a strong nation so, we need a strong leader with vision, belief in America, and perseverance.
All the candidates are needed on the team the way I see it, can't I just vote for the team and be their philosophical advisor.
Please consider all this.
