Can You Spot A Fad Diet? With the obesity epidemic believed to affect 50% of the planet's population, the age of 'dietary fads' and 'quick fix weight loss progammes' has increased in popularity.
From the cabbage diet to the Zone Diet to the Factor 5 diet, all of these diet programmes all claim to quicken weight loss and increased rejuvenation.
Are they real? Unfortunately not...

Supported by extreme workouts and gruelling calorie checking, many of these said dietary fads do run the health risk of leaving you feeling weak, tired, unable to think straight and more worryingly prevent your body from working properly - None of which are dangerous for your health.
How can you spot them? Fad diets are easier to spot than you imagine.
Offering you a 'quick fix' solution to your body concerns, you can often tell a fad diet by their: oToo good to be true claims oMinimal of clinical trials oRemoval of one if not more of the five food groups oRecommendations from trials without reviews from other researchers When choosing a diet or dietary pill, it is imperative to deeply research their effects first before adding them into your diet.
If there are no clinical trials or proof that they can achieve safe health benefits, then they are too good to be true.
