Learning how to meditate for stress relief is not only important to your wellbeing, but Your soul is also begging you to calm down, begging you to find some down time so that you can relieve some stress.

Find a private quiet space in your house, or at work away from the stress.
Make sure this space has no distractions.
If you have children tell them not to disturb you for about 15 minutes.
Tell them this is your away space...

It's best to get comfortable, but not too comfortable just enough so that you are able to relax.

Taking your shoes off is just more comfortable in meditation and it also lets unwanted energy to leave through your feet.

The Third Step Meditating for Stress Relief: Relaxing your muscles.
You can follow an order of relaxation starting with muscles on your scalp, face, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, stomach, pelvis, buttocks, legs, ankles and feet...
Let stress fall away from your body by leaving through your feet...
Breathe and Listen to your breath...
If you Imagine floating on waves of water or think of a warm breeze like a soft feather over your body, having these thoughts creates a rhythm with your breathing and consoles the mind.
You won't think and thoughts that come in, slide away.
Thoughts can be there, but don't acknowledge them.
Just relax your mind and let go...
Listen to your breathing and imagine your breaths are blue waves of energy coming to and from your body.
Clear your mind some more and see nothing...
Float and sense your body's vibration in your hands, feet and all the way to the top of your head.
Slowly let go some more and stay this way until your 15 minutes is up.
When you are finished, acknowledge your inner peace as you rise from where you are.
