Socialism Doesn"t Work - Shouldn"t We Stop This Charade Before It Gets Worse?

Redistribution of wealth is unfair to those who work hard and produce.
That is to say that the whole concept of socialism uses poor logic to get to some sort of utopian equality.
It is not egalitarian, and it is fraught with corruption, we've seen this wherever it has been tried.
When you take something from someone who has earned it and you give it to someone who hasn't, that's hardly fair.
Humans inherently know what is fair and what is not, and although getting free stuff from a government sure sounds nice in the beginning.
It is the means at which a government uses to accomplish that makes it so insidious.
Let's go ahead and talk about this shall we? How can we tell the American people that we believe in freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness if we are busy stealing their happiness and their hard-earned money and redistributing it to those who didn't earn it? Worse, how can we borrow money and put the taxpayers on the hook to pay off those bills in the future, and then blow that money without accomplishing our own stated objectives - and all the while expect the American people to be okay with that.
Perhaps it's time that we stop this rush towards socialism and admit to ourselves that this is a giant charade before it gets any worse.
We can see the culmination of socialism and the dead end of its ways; we can see this in real time in the present period.
We don't even have to look back to history to prove it.
Yes, the historical record of mankind is filled with socialist nations which have failed; but we can see that even today in nations such as; Argentina, Venezuela, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain, and so many others around the world.
We need not end up like them because our GDP to debt ratio is out of control and growing at $1 trillion per year.
We are headed towards that same dead-end, and it will be no better for us than those other nations, all of which have unemployment well over 20%.
Perhaps the unemployment rate at 8% wasn't enough to scare anyone away from the allure of socialism or the promises in those teleprompter speeches.
Perhaps this wasn't enough pain for the American citizen to rethink what they've done or where they have us headed.
That's unfortunate, because it can only get worse with four more years of the same.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this, because it's time to come to terms with the direction we are headed, or we are all headed off a cliff; together.
Well, isn't that just so special? Not.
