Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will get a facelift soon
New face of Alto K10 comes apart from the dull and sullen looks of the Maruti cars. Not in terms of exterior looks, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 comes with a powerful K Series engine along with vibrant looks and styling. Alto K10 became the first car to possess revolutionary K-Series power plant under the hood from Maruti Suzuki.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 comes with 1.0 litre K10B engine that churns out an impressive power of 68PS at 6200rpm with a peak torque of 90Nm at 3500 rpm. K Series engine satisfies BSIV norms that ensures the eco-friendliness of the engine. The vehicle sprints from naught to century taking a time of 13.3 seconds. Alto K10 is capable of providing a mileage of 20km per litre of petrol. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission system that works with cable gear shift.
K Series engine is the biggest new thing about the vehicle. 998cc power mill powers the car that provides superior mileage, better power output and excellent pickup to the vehicle. Features like internally adjustable ORVMs, newly tail lamps, brighter and bold eagle eye shaped headlamps and chrome accentuated Maruti Suzuki Logo makes the vehicle look more elegant and stylish.
The height, length and width of this small car are 1460mm, 3620mm and 1475mm respectively. 13 inch tubeless tyres are provided to Alto K10. Turning Radius of Alto K10 is limited to 4.6 meters that manages an effective parking of the vehicle. 160mm of ground clearance is offered by Maruti. Door handles are black coloured gives a refreshed entry to the car. ORVMs and bumpers are painted with body colour.
Plastic quality is decent while the space inside vehicle is not good as the competition goes on. The interior of the vehicle are quite basic. Dual tone interiors, vibrant colours for the upholstery and high quality fabrics are provided to the vehicle. Electronic trip meter, ashtray, Air Conditioner with heater, vanity mirror, sun visor, rear parcel tray, cup holders, accessory socket and front power windows features the interior of Maruti Alto K10.
More leg, shoulder, head and knee room is provided to the vehicle as compared to Maruti Alto. New features like remote fuel tank lid opener, key-off reminder, central locking are provided to all new Alto K10. Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 LXi variant comes with a price tag of 3,25,083 INR (ex-showroom New Delhi), while VXi variant costs 3,38,324 INR (ex-showroom New Delhi).
