How to Troubleshoot a John Deere LT 133 Lawn Mower
- 1). Determine if the gas tank is empty. If necessary, add gas until the level reaches the full line.
- 2). Press the brake pedal as far down as it will go. The pedal must be fully depressed to start the mower.
- 3). Disengage the mower blades. Move the blade lever to the "Disengaged" position. The mower will not start if the mower blades are engaged.
- 4). Locate the spark plug and examine the spark plug wire. Push firmly on the spark plug wire to make sure it is seated fully on the spark plug.
- 5). Replace the spark plug, if necessary. Pull the spark plug wire off the spark plug. Remove the spark plug, using a socket wrench. Install the new spark plug, using a socket wrench. Push the spark plug wire firmly onto the spark plug with your fingers.
