Some people say that the grass is often greener on the other side And you know what? Sometimes it is true.
So if we let it happen to us life can be a perpetual problem as we make our merry way across our amazing land But before we do we should always ask ourselves where am I going and what does it really mean Certainly people are different and what one person may find acceptable might be objectionable to the next Yet if there is any advice that I could possibly give I would simply say that it is important to reflect upon what you are actually going to be doing in the end Of course no one knows you like you do So while it is imperative that you consider the feelings of the people you love It is critical that you remain true to yourself as the Great Bard has often said But I guess the real quagmire comes from the values that you choose Yet in many cases it might not involve any conscious thought at all And while I definitely would recommend a reflective stance on life Too often we may become mired in our own dangerous quicksand even though I believe that we all have our own special navigator who will help us to contend Personally I believe it is hard-wired into our mind So a healthy person will gravitate towards what they need And they will try to avoid what could be harmful to them, whether it be spiritual, material or whatever it may possibly be But too often we meet people who seem to be bound up within a restrictive suffocating cage And much to my surprise the unhappy people who surround them are often happy just to make them feel sad As they are always eager to crack the bullwhip to inflict their excruciating pain But you are a fool if you let them control you The little security that they provide you will turn out to be nothing in the end It is time that you live your life as you would like it to really be Of course there are obligations but they are precious and few Live your life as you see fit And you will become the great envy of the world A free mind is such a rare thing in this day and age So don't let them take it away Don't let them ever make you cry Life is an adventure and it is the oyster that you must surely eat Crack open the shell and push your tongue between its teeth You will enjoy what the world has to offer So there is no reason for you to be afraid And if you are near the jagged edge look down and see the blue water swirling below you too The jump will be exhilarating So trust me You may never pass this way again
