Create a basic website. You can do this using a prefabricated website service such as Wordpress or Blogspot, or you can buy your own domain name and create a website from scratch. Pick a Web address based on your name or pseudonym.

    • 2). Create an "about" section on your site. On the "about" page, include a photo of yourself, information about the themes in your art and a brief personal history.

    • 3). Create a "contact" page. On the "contact" page, include your e-mail address and a brief message encouraging contact.

    • 4). Create a "catalog" section. This should be able to present either clickable thumbnails that lead to larger images, a flip-through gallery that uses forward and backward arrows for navigation or a blog-style, vertically scrolling listing of your art pieces.

    • 5). Upload photos or scanned images of your art pieces to the website.

    • 6). Add information about each artwork to the left of or below each image. This information should include the title of the piece, a brief description of its meaning, the mediums used to create it and its dimensions. If you are selling rather than just displaying your art, include the price of the piece as well.
