- 1). Unpack all MagicJack components from box. The box will include the MagicJack device and a small USB extension in case you cannot fit the device into your computer. The main reason for this may be that you have too many wires attached your computer already.
- 2). Plug in the MagicJack to the computer. If you need the USB extension, plug the MagicJack into the female end of the extension and plug the male end into the computer.
- 3). Wait for the MagicJack to load the programming on your computer. Once the MagicJack is plugged into the computer, it will automatically run the software needed to use the device.
- 4). Plug in your telephone and start making calls. You can insert any land line phone jack into the device. As long as you are connected to an Internet connection, you can make phone calls using the MagicJack.
