Tarabino Inn

• The Tarabino Inn in Trinidad is in a Victorian-style house constructed in 1907. Much of the original décor remains intact, including the columns in front of the building and antique furniture. The inn has four rooms; two of the rooms -- West Gable and East Gable -- share a bathroom, while the two suites -- Chesnut and Walnut -- have sleeper sofas and private bathrooms. Other hotel features include an art gallery in the parlor and a dining room for breakfast; the artwork is from local artists. Tarabino Inn is a five-minute walk from the Trinidad History Museum. Restaurants on Main Street, including Rino's Italian and Blackjack's Saloon, are a five-minute walk from the inn.
  
  

Best Western Trinidad Inn

• Located in Trinidad, the Best Western is a 25-minute drive from Aguilar via the JFK Memorial Highway. Trinidad Lake State Park is a five-minute drive from the hotel; this 2,500-acre park provides fishing piers on Trinidad Lake and the Group Picnic Area for picnics on the lake. Best Western amenities include an outdoor pool area with whirlpool tub, breakfast room and parking spaces for RVs. The swimming pool is only open during the late spring and summer months.
